Exploration Tour Japan trip 2026

Joris Posthumus Group (JP/NL) Alto saxophonist and composer Joris Posthumus (NL) returns to Japan in March 2026 with new music, continuing to develop the group and its musical dialogue between Japan and the Netherlands. Since first collaborating with the Japanese jazz scene in 2015, he has released Tokyo’s Bad Boys (2016) and JINSEI (2024), touring Japan, Belgium, and the Netherlands, including a standout performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival. In March 2026 Joris reunites with original members to  joine them on an exploration tour throughout Japan sharing bold new music and meaningful artistic connections. 

アルトサックス奏者で作曲家のヨリス・ポスティムスは、2026年3月に新曲を携えて日本へ戻ってきます。日本とオランダの音楽的対話を軸にグループとしての表現をさらに発展させていきます。2015年に日本のジャズシーンと初めてコラボレーションして以来、『Tokyo’s Bad Boys』（2016年）、『JINSEI』（2024年）をリリースし、日本、ベルギー、オランダでのツアーを行い、ノースシージャズフェスティバルでの公演でも好評を博しました。 2026年3月、ヨリスはオリジナルメンバーと再集結するとともに新たな才能を迎え、音楽を探求すべく日本各地を巡るツアーを開催。意義深い芸術的な繋がりを共有し、大胆な新作楽曲を発表していきます。
